Mastering digital contract creation

Build the skills to create contracts fit for the digital future

As the insurance market continues to digitise, the quality and structure of contract data has never been more important. Mastering Digital Contract Creation (MDCC) is a practical, one-day training course designed to help insurance professionals understand how digital contracts are created, managed and used throughout the placement lifecycle.

Through a combination of expert guidance, real-world examples and hands-on exercises, delegates will learn how structured contract data can improve consistency, reduce rework, support collaboration and unlock the full potential of digital placement platforms such as Whitespace.

By the end of the course, participants will leave with a practical framework they can apply immediately in their day-to-day role: the 7 Cs of Digital Contract Creation.

CII CPD Accredited

Delegates can earn up to 8 CPD hours.

What you'll learn

By the end of the Mastering Digital Contract Creation course, delegates will be able to:

  • Explain the fundamental principles of digital contracts, including how structured data distinguishes them from traditional documents and enables information to be shared and reused throughout the insurance lifecycle.
  • Apply the 7 C's of Digital Contract Creation to practical scenarios, making informed decisions around consistency, data, structure, usability and effective digital working practices.
  • Create a structured, data-enabled contract draft from a reusable template, using appropriate data and modular components to support onward use within a digital placement workflow.
  • Evaluate the impact of effective digital contracting on their own role, organisation and the wider insurance market, and identify opportunities to champion improved digital practices in their day-to-day work.
