PatientChoice are a new niche player in the UK health insurance market. From  both medical and broking backgrounds, the directors spotted a gap in the market to provide policyholders with insurance to cover specific medical needs.

 

Realising the importance of going digital from the word go, Dominic Higham and Dr Thom van Every established their business using the latest software. They approached Whitespace to set up the SCHEMATIC system to collect policy details and to make premium payment collection by BACS.

 

SCHEMATIC is used to keep a track of quotations, produce and issue policy documents, and set up direct debits from individuals’ bank accounts using BACS. The team can see when renewals are due, when documents need to be issued and which quotations need following up.

 

SCHEMATIC has made all the difference to the operational efficiency of PatientChoice. They have avoided the old style paper based way of doing business and have catapulted themselves and their policyholders into the 21^st Century. The business is proving so successful, they anticipate a four fold growth path in 2006.
