ALAN BOSWELL INSURANCE GROUP SIGNS NEW SOFTWARE DEAL WITH WHITESPACE
SOFTWARE
Norwich based Insurance Broker, Alan
Boswell Insurance and Financial Services Group have signed a new
deal with Whitespace Software. The new Quotation and
Administration system for the Alan Boswell Property Owners Scheme will increase profitability by applying more efficient
administration and validation procedures. The software will replace current
paper-based processes, improve existing policy documentation and apply strict
rule-based underwriting criteria, enabling better quality control of risks
accepted.
Alan Boswell, MD of the group says - “We chose Whitespace for this venture as they
have 18 years experience in the insurance market, they have developed similar
systems in the past and they fully understand our needs and requirements.”
“We are also keen to build a long-term
relationship with Whitespace to develop our broking software systems in the
next year.”

Whitespace Software has supplied bespoke database computer systems to
the Lloyd's of London Insurance market since 1985. ALMANAC, the Managing
Agency accounting system was first sold in 1986, is currently used by over a
third of the Lloyd’s managing agency market, measured by syndicate capacity.
Their Members’ Agency system, SYNOPSIS, is used by 100% of the Members’
Agency market.
