The Southend based insurance provider
Select and Protect has launched 'Sprite', a new quotation system
for the 3,000 agents selling their insurance policies. The system, developed by
Whitespace Software Limited, allows agents to give quotes and collect
proposals on the move, which it then automatically converts to live policies by
plugging into the Internet.

London Insurance market since 1985. ALMANAC, the Managing Agency
accounting system was first sold in 1986, is currently used by over a third of
the Lloyd’s managing agency market, measured by
syndicate capacity. Their Members’ Agency system, SYNOPSIS, is used by
100% of the Members’ Agency market.
