Business Planning System

A client with offices in every major European capital required a simple and transparent business planning system that would be quick and easy to use - and wouldn't generate reams of paper.

After close consultation with the client, our project managers identified the best solution: browser-based planning. Whitespace programmers subsequently developed a software package with a maintenance module that allows central control of the plan structure. The software can run on a global intranet or extranet.

The new software provides templates so that staff can complete financial information, human resources and sales targets for the years ahead. Managers can monitor staff entries at any stage through a flexible reporting program. They can also control the view, edit and sign-off status of their staff through a security screen.

The client was so pleased with the solution that it has also deployed it in South East Asia.
